About Us

CHAT (Churches Housing Action Team) was founded by Christians who were concerned by the large number of people experiencing housing difficulty in Mid Devon.

We believe that everyone is entitled to decent, secure and affordable housing – somewhere to call home.

Just a follow-up Thank You to all those who have raised money for us recently - it all helps us to continue to provide free services to anyone with housing need in Mid Devon. We couldn't do it without you.
Thank you also to those who give to our food store - such a wonderful way to help people when their lives have got really tough.
Hope you've all had a great weekend 🙂
