How You Can Help Us
CHAT needs to maintain a fund of £15,000 to support the Deposit Guarantees that we provide to landlords on behalf of our clients
Around £145,000 is required annually to fund salaries, administration and support costs.
CHAT relies on donations to enable us to provide emergency accommodation and financial assistance in cases of severe hardship
We welcome all opportunities to talk to local groups, anywhere in Mid Devon, about the issues of homelessness, the work that we do and the difference being made through our involvement with the wider community. Please invite us to come and talk to you.

Tents and Sleeping Bags – Throughout the year we give tents and sleeping bags to homeless clients as part of our Hardship Fund whilst we work to help them find a home. We rely on donations for these.
Household Goods – Household items such as crockery, pots and pans, bedding and curtains to help clients setting up in new accommodation are also appreciated.
As we are always striving to improve our service, we welcome all feedback. Constructive criticism and encouragement are both equally informative.
