Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT)
Supporting people experiencing housing difficulties
in Mid Devon since 1995
How can we help?
Our vision is for no one in Mid Devon to be homeless or hungry.
We know life is not always easy and if things are difficult for you, we are here to help. We offer free support and advice on housing, debt and money. We can also help with practical support from our foodbank, pantry and help with household items.
Our office is based in Tiverton but our services are available to anyone in the Mid Devon area and we visit Crediton, Cullompton and Uffculme every week.

Give an Hour... Change a Life
What if one hour of your monthly pay could help someone locally with food, housing or money worries? Give an Hour is a simple monthly way to support CHAT and bring hope across Mid Devon.
By giving just one hour of your wages each month, you can help CHAT bring hope and practical support to people in our local community facing difficult times.

CHAT has been standing by the community in times of need for over 30 years. Since 1995, CHAT has been supporting those facing housing challenges and helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
We couldn't do what we do without the help of others. Our team is made of a small staff team and an amazing group of volunteers, all who go above and beyond, working together, to help those in need. We couldn't do this work without our generous supporters, givers of hope, fundraisers.
