Support the Team with administrative support. This could involve database work, answering the phone and responding to voicemails and other general admin tasks.
Commitment
We understand that sometimes situations change but we ask for a minimum commitment of half a day a week for this role in order to be familiar with our clients and the processes and procedures.
Van Driver
What's Involved
Many of our clients can make use of second hand furniture, and often people are willing to donate things they no longer need. However, CHAT has no storage facility so these need delivery quickly to enable the clients to settle into their new home as soon as possible.
Commitment
This is an ad-hoc role, but we anticipate that we may require your support once or twice a week.

Receptionist
What's Involved
Help create a welcoming reception area, offering hospitality and support to our clients. Process Foodbank requests, book clients in for advice and other reception tasks.

Client Support
What's Involved
Sometimes our clients need a helping hand alongside the work they are doing with the advisors. Supporting clients with form filling, digital access to their bank accounts, decluttering, budget coaching or energy advice are just some examples but maybe you have other ideas so please contact us to discuss.
Commitment
In order to be familiar with our policies and processes involved we ask for a minimum commitment of two sessions a month for this role.
Food@CHAT
What's Involved
Our foodbank and pantry help to provide essential food and support. This role involves chatting to the clients about their needs and packing emergency food parcels, or helping them select their food (pantry). This role can involve some lifting and restocking the food to keep the Food@CHAT area a safe and ordered environment.
Commitment
Our Foodbank is open on weekday mornings and our Pantry open on weekday mornings, Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.
In order to be familiar with the processes involved we ask for a minimum commitment of two sessions a month.

Debt and Money Advisor
What's Involved
If you want to help people with their debt and money worries we can provide the training and tools to help you do that.
You will be part of a team working with clients, offering quality debt and budgeting advice.
Commitment
We understand that sometimes situations change, but due to the cost of training and the amount of time needed to be proficient at the role, we ask for a minimum commitment of approximately 6 hours a week for a year.
